Structure and/or content of the lessons

During an initial exploratory meeting, we discuss the student’s wishes and possibilities. We discuss what the teacher needs to know in order to properly guide the student in class: behavioural characteristics, (physical) disabilities, talents, visual support, or other topics may be discussed during this meeting. The teacher improvises and intuitively offers music to get an impression of the student’s interests and abilities. Finding the right method and approach often takes a number of lessons. The aim is to find the best way for the student to learn new skills.
