Trumpet lessons in Lochem
The trumpet belongs to the brass wind instruments. It has a high sound and you can make it sing romantically, but also let it bellow loudly. Trumpet music can be found in every style: classical, pop, soul, funk and jazz. If you practise regularly, you will soon be able to play entire songs. After a short time, you will be able to play in an orchestra or chamber music ensemble. And if you are already at an advanced level, you can also play solo with the accompaniment of other instruments or even an entire orchestra.
Jasper Gloerich received his training at the conservatories in Hilversum and Amsterdam. He studied jazz trumpet. Immediately after completing his studies, he began teaching. As a performing musician, he has played at jazz festivals in the Netherlands and abroad: The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, Noordpool Orkest, Holland Bigband.
The lessons are held in Zutphen, Muzehof, Coehoornsingel 1, and in Lochem, Kunstfactor, Markt 3.
[X]You can choose between 20 or 30-minute lessons. These can be weekly, but it is also possible to purchase a multi-session card. In that case, lessons take place by appointment.

Jasper Gloerich’s lessons are for anyone who wants to learn to play the trumpet or another small brass instrument. He can train you for the HAFABRA exams. He also gives improvisation workshops, teaching you the basic ingredients for a truly improvised solo. The style can vary from pop and funk to soul. He also gives special brass ensemble lessons: not only enjoying playing together, but also working on ensemble technique and purity. Jasper Gloerich can also be hired as a coach or conductor for your big band or jazz orchestra.
[X]The lessons are only individual. The ensemble lessons are, of course, in groups.
[X]When starting to play the trumpet, it is important to choose a good instrument. Jasper can advise you on this, including when it comes to renting. The textbook will be chosen in consultation with you, depending on your age and experience, including when it comes to teaching materials for duets and performance pieces. During the lessons, attention will be paid to how you can best study.
